We didn't set out to build a product. We built a tool to grow our own business on Facebook Groups — then shared it. We still use it every day, which is exactly why we obsess over making it better.

  How we got here

## From internal engine to a public Chrome extension used by 4,000 people

Group Posting started as a tool for our own marketing. Here is how it became a product.

 2023

### The Internal Engine

Group Posting began as a private, internal tool. We needed a way to post to many Facebook groups without copying and pasting into each one, so we built an engine for our own marketing first.

 2024

### The Public Release

We opened the engine to the public as a Chrome extension. The timing mattered: Meta retired the public Groups API publishing permission on 22 April 2024, and tools built on it could no longer post to groups. Group Posting posts from your own browser instead.

### A public extension, still in daily use

Today the Chrome Web Store listing shows 4,000 users and a 4.2/5 rating from 137 ratings. We ship updates often and test new features in real use, because we still use the same tool to grow our own business.

## The company behind Group Posting

Group Posting Pro is built and operated by Global Charity Solutions Kft., a company registered in Hungary, in the European Union. Being EU-based is deliberate: your data is handled under GDPR, and the engine runs in your own browser. Your Facebook password, cookies and session never leave your computer. Your groups, posts and leads are stored in your browser; Pro's daily cloud backup uploads a copy so you can restore it, and AI features send the text they need to write. The founder is Andras B., who has worked in marketing since 2018 and who builds and runs Group Posting. He built it to take the copy-and-paste out of Facebook group marketing, with pacing settings you control, and he reviews the guides on this blog to keep them accurate.
