  Why accounts get flagged

## One aggressive tool can cost you the account you built for years.

Most restrictions we see come from bot-like patterns: bursts, identical text and odd hours. Content, reports and group rules matter too.

### Cloud tools log in from their servers

Many server-based tools ask for your login and act from a datacenter IP you have never used. That is an unusual login pattern, and a security risk if the provider is ever breached.

### Robotic bursts look like spam

Firing the same post to 40 groups in two minutes with zero variation is a classic spam pattern. Speed feels productive until the checkpoint hits.

### No warning before it's too late

Many tools give you no signal that you're pushing a limit. You only find out you went too far when the account is already restricted.

How it works, in 3 steps

## How the safety controls work together

There's nothing to configure on a server and no password to hand over. Pacing runs on every post and the pre-flight check before every run, from day one; warm-up and night pause are switches you control.

 1

### It posts as you, from your browser

You do not give Group Posting your Facebook password. The extension uses your existing logged-in session; Direct API posting uses session cookies and request tokens locally to authenticate requests to Facebook. These credentials are not sent to Group Posting’s servers.

 2

### It spaces out every post

Randomised delays between posts, with a minimum gap that grows as your daily volume rises. Add the 10 PM–7 AM night pause and, for a brand-new account, the optional warm-up.

 3

### It watches your score and warns you

A 0–100 protection score reads any recent Facebook block, today's volume and your warm-up state, and a pre-flight check flags risky settings before a run starts, so you can ease off before a limit, not after.

The architecture is the safety feature

## Local-first in your browser vs. a cloud bot with your password

How a tool connects matters as much as how fast it posts. This is the biggest difference between Group Posting and server-based tools.

Tools using a remote login

Log into your account from a datacenter server

May require credentials stored by the provider

Appear from an IP Facebook has never seen you use

Posting runs outside your local Facebook tab

Data handling depends on the provider

Group Posting (local-first)

Runs inside your own Chrome, on your computer

Uses your existing session — no password to hand over

Direct API and Classic DOM — both in your own browser

  Paced like a careful person

## Randomised pacing, a growing minimum gap, an optional warm-up and a night pause.

A careful person doesn't post to 200 groups in five minutes, or at 3 AM. Pacing applies to every run; warm-up and the night pause are yours to switch on or off.

### Randomised pacing

Every post lands after a randomised delay, never a fixed-interval burst. You set the tempo and the engine varies each wait. Add spintax or AI variations so the wording varies across groups, which reads better to members and moderators than the same text pasted twenty times. No tool can promise Facebook won't filter or hide a post.

### Optional warm-up for new accounts

Off by default. Switch it on for a new Facebook account: 5 group-posts a day on days 1–2, 10 on days 3–4, 20 on days 5–6, then no warm-up cap. Days count from when you install the extension.

### Night pause

With "Avoid night posting" on (the default in the composer), runs stop between 10 PM and 7 AM your time and pick up again in the morning.

### A minimum gap that grows with volume

Your own timing is kept. In the default pacing mode the engine only raises a very fast setting to a minimum gap: 15 seconds, then 30, 45 and 60 seconds as your group-posts in the last 24 hours pass 30, 60 and 100. It widens for an hour after Facebook flags a post as spam.

## A protection score, and a pre-flight risk check.

You shouldn't have to guess. The Safety Center shows a 0–100 protection score, and before a run starts the pre-flight check flags risky settings.

  Start run

A 0–100 protection score. It reads any recent Facebook block, today's volume and your warm-up state, and tells you plainly where you stand.

Warns you before a limit, not after. If activity trends risky, the score drops, and the engine's minimum gap grows with your daily volume, so you can course-correct while the account is still healthy.

A pre-flight risk check before each run. It weighs your delay against the number of groups, identical post text or first comments, and how many wording variations you have, then says "Looks safe to send", "Caution Advised" or "High risk to your account".

You stay in control. Slow your delay, or switch on Maximum safety, which slows posting much more once you pass about 60 posts in a day. If Facebook blocks the account, scheduled posts and campaigns pause: 2 hours for the first block in 7 days, 6 hours for the second and 24 hours from the third on. If Facebook restricts the account while Milo is searching for or joining groups, the pause is 12 hours. The tool advises; you decide.

## An honest word on "safe"

No tool can promise zero risk on a platform it doesn't control, and anyone who promises you can't be restricted is overselling. What Group Posting can do is keep your pacing sensible, keep your Facebook session credentials off Group Posting’s servers, and give you the controls and warnings to stay in a healthy range. Used sensibly (reasonable volume, varied content, your own account) it lowers the risk while you grow. You're always responsible for following each group's rules and Facebook's terms.

## Account safety FAQ

### Will using a Facebook auto poster get my account banned?

It can't rule that out — no tool can promise zero risk on a platform it doesn't control. It lowers the risk: randomised gaps between posts, a minimum gap that grows with your daily volume, an optional warm-up for new accounts, a 10 PM–7 AM night pause, a risk check before you start a run by hand, and a pause of 2 to 24 hours if Facebook blocks the account. Facebook's limits, group rules and admin approval still apply.

### Does Direct API posting run on a cloud server?

No. Direct API posting sends authenticated internal Facebook web GraphQL requests from your own logged-in browser. Classic DOM posting automates the visible composer in the same browser. Neither method uses Group Posting’s servers to log into Facebook, and neither relies on the retired public Facebook Groups API. API posting does not itself mean cloud posting.

### What is the protection score, exactly?

It's a 0–100 score in the extension's Safety Center. It starts at 100 and drops while the pause after a Facebook block is running, just after Facebook changes something that affects posting, as you get close to a daily limit, and when a new account has warm-up switched off. Green means you're in a comfortable range; amber or red is your cue to slow down. It's a guide, not a guarantee.

### I have a brand-new account — is it safe to start posting?

It can't rule that out — no tool can promise zero risk on a platform it doesn't control. It lowers the risk: randomised gaps between posts, a minimum gap that grows with your daily volume, an optional warm-up for new accounts, a 10 PM–7 AM night pause, a risk check before you start a run by hand, and a pause of 2 to 24 hours if Facebook blocks the account. Facebook's limits, group rules and admin approval still apply. For a brand-new account, switch on the warm-up in the Safety Center (it's off by default): 5 group-posts a day on days 1–2, 10 on days 3–4, 20 on days 5–6, then no warm-up cap. Days count from when you install the extension.

### Is it safe to leave a campaign running all day?

It's designed for it: the engine spaces posts out with randomised gaps, raises the minimum gap as your daily volume grows, pauses between 10 PM and 7 AM when "Avoid night posting" is on, and pauses scheduled posts and campaigns for 2 to 24 hours if Facebook blocks the account. Even so, no tool can promise zero risk on a platform it doesn't control. Runs need your computer awake and Chrome open.

### What does it cost, and which plans include the protections?

You can start free forever — 5 group posts a day, no card needed — and the local-first, password-free architecture protects you from the very first post. Every safety control is on every plan, Lite included. Plus is €69 a year (€5.75/mo) for unlimited posting and simple schedules. Pro — AI, campaigns and Lead Radar — is €9.92/mo billed yearly (€119), €13/mo quarterly or €24 monthly; you can try all of Pro for €14 for your first month. Paid plans are refundable while the activation key is unused.
