Getting started

Why do I need a browser extension — can’t Buffer or Hootsuite post to groups?
Direct API posting sends authenticated requests to Facebook’s internal web GraphQL endpoints; Classic DOM posting automates the visible Facebook composer. Both use your existing logged-in browser session and are separate from the public Facebook Groups API retired on 2024-04-22. Both modes are included on every plan. Keep Chrome open and follow each group’s posting rules. Read about the API change.
What is Group Posting?
Group Posting is a Facebook group auto poster and scheduler for Chrome. It helps businesses spend less time copying posts between groups and more time talking to potential customers. Start with free posting; Plus adds simple schedules, and Pro adds AI content workflows, campaigns and Lead Radar, which flags posts in your groups that match your keywords, with an AI reply draft.
How do I get started?
Add the extension to Chrome for free, pin it, and open Facebook while logged in. Add the groups you want to post to, write and review your post, select your groups, and start the run. Lite includes 5 group-posts a day with no card required. Keep Chrome running while it posts.
Does it work on Mac and Windows?
Yes. Group Posting is a Chrome extension, so it runs anywhere Chrome or Edge does — Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. There's no separate app to download.

Account safety

Will posting to lots of groups get my account banned?
It can’t rule that out — no tool can promise zero risk on a platform it doesn’t control. It lowers the risk: randomised gaps between posts, a minimum gap that grows with your daily volume, an optional warm-up for new accounts, a 10 PM–7 AM night pause, a risk check before you start a run by hand, and a 12-hour stop if Facebook blocks the account. Facebook’s limits, group rules and admin approval still apply. See our security page.
Does Group Posting see my Facebook password?
You do not give Group Posting your Facebook password. The extension uses your existing logged-in session; Direct API posting uses session cookies and request tokens locally to authenticate requests to Facebook. These credentials are not sent to Group Posting’s servers.

Features

Can it post links, images and video?
Yes — text, links, images and video are available, with supported formats depending on the selected Direct API or Classic DOM mode and group permissions. Choose your mode before starting and follow each post’s status. An automatic first comment is available on every plan.
Can the AI write in my language?
Yes. The AI content engine can draft in your customer’s language, with a quick tone or your saved AI Studio voice. Review drafts before publishing. Free access includes five lifetime AI uses; Pro adds the ongoing AI content workflow, campaigns and Lead Radar.
Can I post as a Page, and find new groups?
You can post as your profile or a Page you manage where the group allows that Page to participate. Search Facebook for groups from Milo on any plan. Plus and Pro can choose groups and send join requests, up to 5 a day per Facebook account, spaced at least 3 minutes apart; Pro adds AI fit ranking, Join for me and recurring find & join. Facebook may require admin approval. Joining never posts for you. Membership approval, posting permissions and each group’s rules still apply.
Do I need to keep my computer on?
Yes. Posting, schedules, campaigns and Lead Radar need your computer awake, online and Chrome running with the extension enabled. Lead Radar checks your chosen groups every 15, 30 or 60 minutes, so matches arrive on a later check, not instantly. Nothing is checked while Chrome is closed or the computer is asleep, or while a posting run is going.

Pricing & billing

Is there a free plan, and what does Pro cost?
Yes. Lite is free with 5 group-posts a day, five lifetime AI uses and no card required. Plus costs €69/year for unlimited posting and simple schedules. Pro adds AI content workflows, campaigns and Lead Radar: €119/year (€9.92/month), €39/quarter (€13/month), or €24/month. Lifetime Pro is €279 once. See the pricing page.
Can I try Pro before paying full price?
Yes. The Pro trial costs €1 for 6 days, then €24/month from day 6 unless cancelled before then. It includes Pro’s AI content workflow, campaigns, Lead Radar and cloud backup. Cancel from your LemonSqueezy receipt. Try Pro for €1.
Can I cancel, and is there a refund?
You can cancel anytime from your LemonSqueezy account, or by emailing us at least 24 hours before renewal. Because the free Lite plan lets you try Group Posting first, paid plans are refundable only while your activation key is unused — so activate once you're sure it's right for you.
What payment methods do you accept?
Checkout is handled securely by LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record — all major credit and debit cards. Prices are in euros, VAT is handled automatically, and you get an itemised invoice by email; add your company name and VAT ID at checkout if you need it.

Privacy

Where does my data go — is anything uploaded?
Posting runs in your own browser using your existing Facebook session. AI features send the text and context needed for generation to our service; Pro cloud backup sends backup data to the service. Licensing, diagnostics and checkout also involve service requests. See the Privacy Policy for what is collected and how it is handled.
Is Group Posting affiliated with Facebook or Meta?
No. Group Posting is an independent product operated by Global Charity Solutions Kft. in Hungary. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms. Facebook is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

Questions about posting to multiple groups

How do I post in multiple Facebook groups?

Write and review a post, choose groups you have joined where that content is permitted, then start the run yourself. Keep Chrome open and your computer awake. Check each result: a submission awaiting administrator approval is not a published post, and an unconfirmed result needs inspection before retrying.

How does Milo help me plan and approve posts?

Milo helps prepare a plan and drafts. Today shows progress, Posts holds drafts and the schedule, and Plan holds strategy and group choices. Review the facts, wording and group rules before approving. Approve all approves eligible drafts; it does not schedule or start posting. Scheduling the week requires a separate action and confirmation. Planning is free; running a Milo plan requires Pro. Lite cannot activate a schedule.

What happens when a group does not allow my post?

Groups marked not allowed are excluded from the plan. Groups with unknown rules require your explicit confirmation before their drafts can be approved. Approve all leaves unresolved rule checks for you to review. Facebook permissions and administrator approval still apply, and no tool can guarantee publication or prevent account restrictions.
