How to Find the Right Facebook Groups for Your Business
How do I find Facebook groups to join?
Open Milo, choose Find groups, then enter a topic and, if you serve one area, a location. Milo searches Facebook and lists groups worth a look, with privacy and member counts where Facebook shows them. Pick the ones that fit, check their rules and send your join requests.
- Install Group Posting and sign in to Facebook with your personal profile.
- In Milo, open Find groups and add your topics, plus a location if you need one.
- Choose Let me pick. On Pro you can choose Join for me instead.
- Select the groups you want. The counter shows how many joins you have left today.
- Keep Chrome open and the computer awake while the requests go out, then read the outcome of each one.
How many Facebook groups can I join a day?
Up to 5 join requests a day per Facebook account, spaced at least 3 minutes apart. The limit covers a rolling 24 hours, and Milo shows how many joins you have left and when the next request can go out. Facebook may still ask for admin approval.
Which plan includes the group finder?
Search Facebook for groups from Milo on any plan. Plus and Pro can choose groups and send join requests, up to 5 a day per Facebook account, spaced at least 3 minutes apart; Pro adds AI fit ranking, Join for me and recurring find & join. Facebook may require admin approval. Joining never posts for you.
| Plan | Search | Join requests | AI fit, Join for me, recurring |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite (free) | 3 searches a day | Not included | Not included |
| Plus (€69 a year) | More searches each day | Up to 5 a day | Not included |
| Pro (€24 a month) | More searches each day | Up to 5 a day | Included |

What is AI fit?
On Pro, Milo scores each group from 0 to 100 for how well it fits your business and says why. On other plans, results show as topic matches. A high score is a suggestion, so still read the group's rules and recent posts before you join.
What does Join for me do?
Join for me is a Pro option that sends join requests after one search, to up to 5 matching groups within the daily limit. It joins as your personal profile and only picks groups proven to have no membership questions. The choice applies to that search only.
If Milo cannot check the groups automatically, it shows them and asks you to pick.
Will Milo answer membership questions?
No. Milo never answers membership questions. A group that asks them shows as skipped, or your request may stay pending, so open that group in Facebook and answer the questions yourself. What you tell an admin stays in your own words.
Does joining a group post anything?
No. Joining never posts for you. After a group accepts you, you can add it to your plan or write a post for it, and nothing posts until you approve and start. Check the group's rules first, because membership does not mean promotion is allowed.
Can Milo keep finding new groups?
Yes, on Pro. Recurring find & join runs every week, every 2 weeks or monthly and adds up to 3 new groups each time, within the daily limit. It keeps groups that work and suggests moving others out of your plan. You approve that, and it never leaves a group.
Can a Facebook Page join groups with Milo?
No. Find and join works from your personal profile only, so switch to it before you search. Once you are in a group, you can post as a Page you manage wherever the group lets Pages participate. Check that in each group, because not every group allows it.
What do the join results mean?
Each request ends in a clear state. Joined means the group is in your list. Pending means an admin has not decided yet, and Milo checks again later. Skipped means the group needs your answers in Facebook. Failed means Facebook did not accept the request.
| Result | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Joined | The group was added to your groups. | Add it to your plan or write a post for it. |
| Pending admin approval | An admin has not decided yet. | Wait. Milo checks for approval later. |
| Skipped | The group needs answers from you. | Open it in Facebook and answer yourself. |
| Failed | Facebook did not accept the request. | Read the reason, then try another group. |
| Couldn't confirm | Milo could not tell what happened. | Check the group. Milo won't retry on its own. |
