Posting results explained
Understand Live, Waiting for admin, Uncertain, Failed and Not sent, and choose the next step for each group.
What does each result mean?
- Live: the post is recorded as published. Use View post when a post link is available.
- Waiting for admin: the post was submitted for the group's approval. Wait for the admins; there is no need to resend it.
- Uncertain: Facebook did not confirm the result. It may have posted. Check before trying again.
- Failed: the attempt did not complete successfully. Read the reason and use the action shown for that group—for example, review the media or reconnect to Facebook—before retrying.
- Not sent: this group did not receive a posting attempt, for example because the run stopped first. Read the reason and use the offered action for the missed group.
You may also see Refused. Read the reason: this can be a membership or permission problem, a Page restriction, or a duplicate. Check the group before trying again.
How do I check an Uncertain result?
- Wait until the current posting run finishes.
- Find the group's row and choose Check the group if available. This looks for the post; it does not send it again. If the row offers Open group instead, use it to inspect the group yourself.
- If the check finds the post, its result changes to Live or Waiting for admin.
- If it is not found yet, wait a few minutes and check again, or open the group yourself.
A check that finds nothing does not prove the post failed. Do not resend an Uncertain post without checking the group first.
If asked to switch back, use the profile or Page that made the original run. If the check cannot run, open the group to inspect it yourself.
What do View post and Got it do?
View post opens the saved Facebook post link in a new tab. It appears only when a post link is available. An Uncertain row can have both View post and Check the group; a saved link alone does not change its result.
Got it closes the completed-run results and returns you to Compose. It does not resend posts or change their results. You can open the run again from Activity.
