Understand Lead Radar scan statuses

Check what Lead Radar scanned, why a scan was skipped, and how to change its timing or pause it.

What does the status mean?

  • Scan complete: the scan finished. Review the new matches in your inbox. No new keyword matches found. means this scan found no new matches; check the coverage below before assuming every selected group was checked.
  • Skipped: posting was running: a posting run was using the engine, so this check did not scan. Let the run finish and look at Next check, or choose Manual Scan afterward.
  • Skipped: 12-hour account safety pause: the account pause prevented the scan. Wait until the pause ends and follow any instructions Facebook shows before trying again.

Open Lead Radar → Settings → Automation to see Last check and the scan coverage.

What if some groups could not be checked?

  1. Open Lead Radar → Settings → Automation. The scan-health line beside Last check may say Some groups could not be checked. Then open Settings → Targeting → Groups to watch and look for the per-group note Not checked successfully in the last scan. These messages describe incomplete coverage, not proof that those groups had no matches.
  2. Open the affected groups on Facebook and check that the intended profile or Page can access them. If GPP asks you to sign in or switch back, do that first.
  3. Choose Manual Scan again. If the scan still cannot finish, close and reopen the extension.

If GPP says it could not find a group’s Facebook ID and removed it from Radar, open that group on Facebook, save it again using its numeric /groups/ link, then select it in Radar again.

A feed scan checks only posts visible in the group feed. Busy groups may have only their newest posts checked.

How often does Lead Radar scan?

Continuous scanning requires Pro and runs approximately every 15, 30 or 60 minutes while Chrome is running. Sleep, Facebook availability and active posting can delay it.

  1. Open Lead Radar → Settings → Automation.
  2. Under Scan cadence, choose your interval.
  3. Select Save Settings.

The 60 minutes · Safe option means less frequent scanning. It is not an account-safety guarantee.

How do I pause scanning or remove keywords?

To pause, select the power/status button beside the Lead Radar heading to switch scanning off. Its tooltip is Turn Lead Radar scanning on or off. Your groups and keywords remain saved.

To remove individual keywords, open Settings → Targeting, delete the unwanted text from Exact phrases, Broad keywords or Negative keywords, then select Save Settings.

At least one exact phrase or broad keyword is required to save. To stop watching all keywords, switch scanning off; clearing both positive fields cannot be saved.
